Adobe Lightroom For Mac Os Catalina

With the new release of macOS 10.15 Catalina, you may wonder which Adobe applications are compatible, or if you should wait to install the new OS update. We’ve compiled a list of any known issues that we’ve been able to come across thus far in Catalina. I upgraded to Catalina on a MacBook Pro (2014 edition) 15 inch model, and it seems to work as well as it did before under macOS Mojave. I would like to buy the 19 inch MacBook Pro which comes with Catalina pre-installed, but am concerned that Lightroom may not migrate to the new machine.

Most older Adobe apps were created using 32-bit architecture and do not work in Catalina. We have no plans to update apps that we no longer support or develop. The following table lists some common 32-bit Adobe apps that are not compatible with Catalina. (It is not a comprehensive list of all older. I thought it was 32-bit because I keep getting the 'Adobe Lightroom is not optimized for your Mac and needs to be updated' message. I did a little searching and at least one person reports it running fine on Catalina beta. Operating System macOS 10.14 Mojave I have not updated to the new Mac Os Catalina because of the discussions that plug-ins for LR and Photoshop with not work.

I currently use Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6 and LR 6.14 works well in this OS. I understand that this is a 64 bit application. However, Adobe Application Manager (32 bit) also resides on my iMac. Do not know if this is there to support LR 6.14. Assuming it (Adobe Application Manager) is, will this impair LR 6.14 operation in Catalina. Feedback from Catalina beta testers will be appreciated.
Best Regards,
